Kitchen screen, tablet and printer

On the Callonia tablet (Android)

1. Open the Callonia Kitchen app.
2. In your panel, open Kitchen screen > Connect a device. A 6-digit code appears.
3. Type the code in the app. Orders start showing right away, with a sound for each new order.

The code works once and expires in 15 minutes. Need the app on another Android tablet? Open app.callonia.ai/app on it to download it.

Connect your printer

1. Your kitchen printer must be connected to the same network as the tablet (Wi-Fi or network cable). Most kitchen printers already are, for your POS.
2. In the app, tap ⚙ > Search printers and choose yours.
3. Choose the type (most printers: ESC/POS; Star printers: Star) and the paper width (80 or 58 mm).
4. Tap Print test. Turn on “Print new orders automatically” so every new order prints by itself.

On a computer or iPad

In Kitchen screen > Connect a device, open the link it shows in the browser of that device and bookmark it. Orders show live, but tickets don’t print directly to the kitchen printer from a browser.

Using the screen

• New orders appear in New with a sound that repeats until someone taps them.
• Tap Start cooking, then Ready!. Before an order goes out, tick each item into the bag.
• The ⋯ button has print, move back, cancel and refund.
• Scheduled orders wait under Later and move to New when it’s time to start.

If it stops working

• The screen shows Offline: check the tablet’s Wi-Fi. Orders appear as soon as it reconnects. If the screen is offline for 10 minutes while you’re open, Callonia texts and emails you.
• The printer doesn’t print: check it’s on and has paper, then ⚙ > Search printers again. If it got a new network address, type it in Printer IP and tap Use this IP.
